This mic is a beast! It keeps the twang of the Tele relatively well but it's beefier and no problem for overdrive or distortion. I installed it several years ago on my '63 Custom Shop Tele because I needed a single coil with a higher output since I was installing a humbucker in the neck position. It's honestly great.
